Weapons
I guess you could say that my interest in weapons started around the early late 80's/90's. I started, I wouldn't say collecting knives because I just had 2, getting knives ugh, i dunno how to frickn start out this thing so im just going to leave it at this wtf cares anyway no one will ever read this. Below is a brief whatever about what I gathered and started collecting.

The actual weapons I'll talk about:

I think the first big knife I ever got was this one on the left, it's called an "Arkansas Toothpick". It's about 1 and a half feet long, it was like a tiny sword, or huge knife. It reminded me of the story of Peter Pan. The reason, the story of Peter Pan was always an awesome story to me. I had often thought would be cool never growing up and living in a place were anything is possible. There was this cartoon in the early 90's "Peter Pan and the Pirates" The story of Peter Pan has grown over time but I'd always imagined being Peter Pan. On that cartoon Peter Pan had a small sword and I thought "hey this Arkansas Toothpick is about the same size!" We had moved to a lake and I'd walk down to the land that the "Shriner's Club Building" was on, and walk out to were the water was. The water around that spot washed away some of the land and it was kind of like a cliff. I would imagine I was near a cliff and below it, water from the ocean. I had found a piece of a root that had a hole through it, I got a paper towel cardboard tube thing and pushed it through the hole in the wood and would pretend it was a telescope thing.

Tae Kwon Do:

I had started taking a Tae Kwon Do class in the evening times after school 3 days a week. After taking it a while and having perfect attendance. My instructor just gave me his martial arts weapons. Kamas, Sais and Tonfa. Dunno why he gave them to me, he said he didn't have a use for them anymore.

Swords:

About the time during when I was taking Tae Kwon Do, one summer I went on a type of vacation with my grandparents to Canton Texas. There they had this huge flea market. I had saved up some money doing odd things during the summer, and at the flea market I saw these 2 swords. It was just 100 bucks for both of them and the stand they were on. So I bought them.

I also was interested in a tv show based on a hit movie called Highlander. I recieved a Highlander the Series catalog in the mail one day and saw "The Official Duncan MacLeod Sword" I just had to have it for some odd reason. I had some money saved up about 20 or so bucks no were near enough for the sword. The sword was like 299 bucks. I dunno what drove me to wanting it but I had to have it, I made a deal with my mom if she would put it on her credit card I'd work at her store doing things around it to pay for the sword. Well I got the sword and now it just sits in my room above the head of my bed. "Just sitting there..." :( I found out that this sword was the official series sword not the original used by Adrian Paul in the series. I fell for it, I wont get rid of it or send it back because it was a mistake to even get it and I'm going to force myself to live with the mistake of buying it.

Loved watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles while growing up, since I was taking Tae Kwon Do (still) I had a catalog with some martial Arts stuff in it. I saw an 89 dollar ninja sword. Again my ignorance I was compelled to buy it. Saved up and got it. (Know that song "I wish that I knew what I know now, When I was younger?" that's how I feel about all this stuff.)

Yep, had to have some of these, the brown handle ones I got during the time I was taking Tae Kwon Do. Got'em out of the same book I got the ninja sword out of. It's got a dragon design with a rubylike (plastic) eye and white pearls (plastic). Why I got it? That's a good question. I won't get rid of any of this either because, I got it, I'm living with it! The black handle ones on the right my dad found on the side of the road near our house.

MISC.

These are some misc knives I've collected over the years, I do have others but I couldn't find them when I was taking these pictures. Most of these were given to me by my papaw/grandfather. The throwing knives on the right I got out of the same catalog as the ninja sword and chucks. I have some throwing stars (non sharp) too but I didn't take the time to take some pics of them.

I got this for my birthday, it's only like 6 to 8 inches long, but I do have a larger one that's a foot or so long. I couldn't find it when taking these pictures. It's called a flying dragon sword.

When I was playing Mortal Kombat out the arse in the early 90's there was this character called Kabal, he used Twin Hook Swords in his combos, I wanted some of those, they were in the catalog too, but I didn't get them. I'm kinda glad I didn't.
